Sister-in-law confirms Aslam married Marissa Dania Hakim in secret
9 Feb - The sister-in-law of a man known as Aslam recently confirmed that he has secretly married Norman Hakim and Abby Abadi's daughter, Marissa Dania.
The woman, known as Nadiah Mazlan, responded to the media's query about the rumour after a source alleged that the two tied the knot while Aslam's wife Misya was in Mekah doing her umrah.
"Yes, it's true. The two got married in Thailand. It is just like what had been relayed," said Nadiah.
Prior to the marriage news, 18-year-old Marissa made headlines last year after a woman named Misya took to social media to reveal that her husband had been having an affair with the young Marissa.
She claimed that the hijab model was the reason she was divorced by her husband. However, Misya and Aslam had since reconciled.
The issue sparked anger among netizens, with some slammed Marissa for not learning any lesson from her own parents' failed marriage, which stemmed from Norman's previous extramarital affair.
It is also noted that Marissa has now unfollowed both her parents on social media. While Abby still follows her on Instagram, Norman has also done the same by unfollowing Marissa.
