Zhao Lusi has started physical rehab and speaking again

2 Jan - A friend of Zhao Lusi recently assured that everything is well with the actress following previous news of her hospitalisation.

The friend, who has been updating the fans with Zhao's condition since her hospitalisation last week, posted on Weibo that Zhao has asked her to tell everyone that she is safe.

"[She] hopes that everyone can be reassured. She is slowly starting to speak and has begun physical rehabilitation," she posted.

However, the friend said that she is in no position to discuss what happened or the real nature of Zhao's illness, but that she doesn't want the actress to explain it herself as well.

Hinting at something much more controversial happening behind the scene, she wrote, "I hope someone will step forward to take responsibility and provide a clear explanation."

It was back on 27 December that her management agency confirmed rumours that she was hospitalised following a health situation. It was later reported to be aphasia, and that Zhao has been actively cooperating with the treatment at the hospital.
