28 Jul – Singaporean actor Chin Han has recently landed another Hollywood role and this time he will be working alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

The 47-year-old was recently added to the Johnson-led cast of "Skyscraper", written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, according to Deadline.

His role, however, has yet to be revealed.

The movie will see Johnson playing a former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran, Will, who now assesses security for skyscrapers.

Will becomes a wanted man on the run when while on assignment in Hong Kong, he gets framed for a fire that set the tallest and safest building in the world ablaze. Now he must work together with the building's owner and designer to rescue his family, who are trapped inside the building, and also find those responsible for framing him.

Set to scale the big screen in North America on 13 July 2018, "Skyscraper" also stars Neve Campbell ("Scream" franchise) and Pablo Schreiber ("13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi").

This will not be Chin Han's first time brushing shoulders with Hollywood actors as he has appeared in numerous Hollywood productions including 2008's "The Dark Knight", 2009's "2012", 2011's "Contagion", 2014's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", 2016's "Independence Day: Resurgence", and most recently, alongside Scarlett Johansson in this year's "Ghost in the Shell".

Fans would also have seen him starring as Chancellor Jia Sidao in "Marco Polo", the Netflix series which was filmed in Malaysia's Pinewood Studios.
