Singapore’s first ramen buffet starting from just S$19.90 at Shinjitsu Ramen
If you’re as crazy about ramen as I am, this news will have you squealing too. Yes, our city has a surplus of free flows and buffets, but one for ramen? Shinjitsu Ramen is here to fill that void with its, all-you-can-eat spread that will have you rolling back home on a full stomach. They have two other outlets at Toa Payoh and Ang Mo Kio, but this buffet is only available at their Jalan Besar restaurant.
Until 15 Sep 2022, for just S$19.90 per person for the lunch buffet, go on a ramen eating binge along with delicious sides. This is inclusive of non-alcoholic drinks and sides. For the dinner buffet, the offer is inclusive of beer and is priced at S$39.90 per person. The lunchtime buffet is between 11am and 2pm, and the dinner buffet is available between 5pm and 10pm. However, you can go at it for a maximum of two hours only. I still feel that’s pretty worth it.
So what can you expect to stuff yourself with in all the time you have? Made with in-house broths, you have the option to choose between six types of flavourful ramen. If you’re craving a spice kick, go for the Red Spicy Tonkotsu (S$9.30) with hot chilli oil or the Black Spicy Tonkotsu (S$8.30) with black garlic. The Ginger Pork Ramen (price unlisted) is fragrant and something to soothe your nerves on a rough day.
The Tonkotsu Ramen (S$7.30) is a crowd favourite and has a collagen-rich broth. This can be levelled up with extra toppings and is called the Tonkotsu Special (S$11.30). Finally, you have the Clear Chicken Broth Ramen (S$7.10), a universal favourite. Even buying them a la carte is pretty affordable.
It doesn’t stop there— you’ve also got sides to pick from! There are bites like Grilled Squid (S$6.50), Pork Gyoza (S$6 for 6 pcs), Teriyaki Chicken (S$5.50), Stir Fried Mushrooms (S$4.50), and much more.
Another great offer— kids below the age of 10 get to eat for free!
Those between the ages of 14 to 17 can enjoy the dinner buffet at just S$19.90. It’s like Christmas morning with this one, so hurry and have your month’s fill of ramen.
