The Singapore Edition hotel opens in the heart of Orchard
The Singapore Edition, the brand’s first Southeast Asia outpost opens today (9 November). American entrepreneur and hotelier Ian Schrager, in collaboration with interior design firm Cap Atelier, dreamt of the design concept for the Edition Hotels around the world, including Singapore's Edition, which is a 204-room hotel located off the west end of Singapore’s iconic upper Orchard Road.
Ian Schrager shares, “It was a thrill for us to do a hotel in Singapore and to come up with a project as sophisticated and beautiful as the city itself.”
Plenty of well-thought social spaces here, including The Lobby Bar; a restaurant spearheaded by restaureur Josh Niland called Fysh at Edition; and an al-fresco rooftop bar, The Roof.

Zerrin, the design-led discovery platform empowering emerging designers and conscious consumption, has opened its next pop-up experience Crafting Change: Best of Asia.
Running from 3 November to 31 December, the pop-up concept store is located at Anchorpoint Shopping Centre’s bright and breezy West Deck. This edition gathers over 30+ independent designers across two months, showcasing a myriad of story-led brands with sustainable practices spanning fashion, beauty and wellness.
The pop-up’s official launch on 2 November was attended by editors, stylists and influencers who had the opportunity to meet the designers, capture their poem in a story with local artist Graceful Quills and create their own customised oil blend with local beauty brand Slow Rituals.

Boutique Fairs Singapore returns for the 21st time
Shopping event Boutique Fairs Singapore is returning for The Gifting Edition. The fair will take place from 17 to 19 November at the F1 Pit Building. Spanning across two floors and seven rooms, this will be the biggest edition of the fair since the pandemic.
Now in its 21st year, the event saw an astounding vendor interest this round, drawing close to 900 applicants. The fair will also host recipients of the Young Designers Showcase Grant, an initiative that supports up-and-coming designers under the age of 30 who have yet to show at Boutique Fairs. Local charities and social organizations supported by Boutique Fairs will also be present to engage with the wider community.
