Simon Yam enjoys coming to Penang for local food
7 May - Simon Yam truly loves Penang, as he came for a visit for the umpteenth time to promote GINTELL's new Marvel Spider-Man massage chair.
The Hong Kong star, who spoke to the media at the event held in Queensbay Mall in Penang, said that he has been coming to Malaysia since the 1980s and would often travel to Penang.
"I would visit Penang every two to three years since then. My favourite foods are char kway teow, laksa, oyster omelette and chicken rice," he said, adding that he would always recommend his production team to come to Penang for filming.
He revealed that when he drove from Kuala Lumpur to Penang this time, he stopped at 5 rest stops and enjoyed different food at each rest stop.
Asked how he maintained his good figure, the GINTELL spokesperson said that when he arrived at the hotel, in addition to doing a "super jog" in the hotel room for 20 minutes, he would also sit on a massage chair for 20 minutes after taking a shower, which made him feel very comfortable.
