Simon Yam can't imagine daughter getting married
28 Feb – Although he plays an older man falling in love with a younger woman in new movie, "A Beautiful Moment" (also known as "My Rival is Son-in-law"), Simon Yam admitted that he can't imagine his own daughter, Ella doing the same in the future.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor who was asked about his daughter's future marriage while promoting the new movie recently, responded, "I do not want to think about that."
"She is still a child. She is just 13-years-old. Right now, she is still my dear little sweetheart. But when that day comes, I will prepare myself psychologically," he said.
When asked if there are roles that he wouldn't play for the sake of his daughter, Simon said that an actor should not limit himself. However, he admitted that he will not do any kind of character that will let his daughter feel uncomfortable.
The doting father also admitted that Ella now makes the decision when it comes to their activities together.
"We went to Finland for a white Christmas before, and now she will make the decision. We're going wherever she wants to go," he said.
