Shuib: Please do not compare Watie to Siti Sarah!
16 May – Shuib has recently expressed frustration over people comparing his new fiancée, Watie Hanifiah to his late wife, singer Siti Sarah.
The comedian-turned-radio personality, who got engaged to the businesswoman earlier this month, stated that Watie did nothing wrong but be a good companion to him and his children.
"It's not fair for her. The comparison would end up hurting someone one way or another," he added.
Shuib also stated that he and his team have already discussed with Watie about the situations that entail by marrying a celebrity like him.
"I can't say that she is fully ready, but I hope she is ready enough," he added.
As for Siti Sarah, Shuib stated that his late wife will forever have a special place in his heart, something that even Watie knew and understood.
Shuib and Watie held their engagement ceremony back on 6 May. The couple will be tying the knot on 23 June.
