Shu Qi doesn't plan on more collaborations with husband
28 Aug - Although she is one of the stars in her husband's directorial effort, "The Adventurers", Taiwanese actress Shu Qi is not keen on collaborating again with Stephen Fung again anytime soon.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress, who spoke to the media at the premiere of the said movie, laughed when asked if she would consider doing a commercial with her husband in the future, saying, "Of course, not. There's no need for that."
As to whether they would star in a movie together in the future, she replied, "It's better not to do it."
Shu also stated that she didn't need to consult Stephen a lot about the details when they were filming the movie, as the screenplay itself was good enough for her.
"I only needed to perform my character well," she added.
Speaking of their relationship, the actress denied any special treatment from Stephen, whom she married while filming the movie.
"We were director and actor on the set, so I couldn't talk about our relationship or complain too much. I didn't want people to think that I would try to get out of doing the hard parts. So in the end, I basically did whatever he wanted me to do," she said.
