Show Dad you love him with these 10 Father’s Day meals that deliver to your doorstep

Fathers—they’re quite a unique bunch of people. Especially those that hail from a generation where outwardly shows of affection are less commonplace. They tend to show their love in more practical ways: “Have you eaten?” “Do you need money?” “How’s your job coming along? Smoothly? Good.”

Not that all fathers are that way—slightly distant and aloof, with a touch of nonchalance. I’ve heard stories from friends of a father-child relationship that someone like myself can only dream. A relationship where words of affirmation come naturally and outwardly expression of affection is not something to be frowned upon; rather, a gesture of physical love that is reassuring and comforting.

Regardless of the type of love your dad shows, there’s nothing like a good spread of food to show your appreciation for the sacrifices he’s made for the family. He might wonder what the fuss is all about, but trust me when I say that he is, in fact, grateful for this generous show of love that he finds difficult to express.

In fact, make it an entire family affair, and partake in convivial conversation as everyone dig into these ten Father’s Day meals, specially curated by restaurants (and one Gelato joint!) to celebrate dads in Singapore.
