SHINee members play big part at Kim Jong-hyun's funeral

21 Dec – The remaining four members of SHINee were all seen recently at the funeral of their good friend and fellow member, Kim Jong-hyun, who allegedly died of suicide earlier this week.

As reported on Korea Herald, Onew, Key, Taemin joined Super Junior members Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Leeteuk as pallbearers, while the group's rapper, Minho walked ahead of the procession alongside Jong-hyun's sister, holding his photo.

The private funeral, which started at the Seoul Asan Hospital at 8am, was attended by Kim's family as well as officials and stars of S.M. Entertainment, including Girls' generation, NCT, and BoA, while EXO's Lay flew in from China to pay his respects.

On the other hand, over 500 mourners, including fans, also visited the funeral hall.

Kim was reported to have taken his own life on 18 December, following a long battle with depression.
