Sharon Chan frustrated over rumours over her political stance

2 Sep – Sharon Chan recently took to social media to express her frustration over previous rumours about her departure from "Flying Tiger 3".

As reported on Mingpao, earlier this month tabloids speculated that Sharon was removed from the said project and replaced by Alice Chan due to her political stance, after netizens found an old image she shared on social media that many claimed depicted Hong Kong protesters in the positive light.

She had since denied it, saying that she was the one who decided to withdraw from the project in fear of the pandemic.

Speaking about the issue online, Sharon said that she is both Chinese and Hong Kong citizen, and that she loves Hong Kong and the motherland.

As for the photo, which she actually posted a year ago, Sharon said that it was just a simple idea of a mother who just wants to be happy, love the world more, and live in a peaceful and healthy society. She also stressed the importance of having a positive energy and admitted that she felt much better after communicating her thoughts with the fans.
