Sharon Chan cancels CNY activities to avoid NcoV outbreak
29 Jan – Sharon Chan recently admitted that her Lunar New Year celebration this year has not and will not be as festive as in the past due to the recent outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who attended a TVB Lunar New Year event in Wan Chai recently, shared that she and her family decided to have a low-key celebration this year, which includes not holding a lot of activities with relatives and friends.
"We have cancelled all the activities except for the first day with the grandparents. We're also avoiding eating out on the streets and reducing contact with the outside world," she said.
As to whether she has bought masks to prevent from getting infected, Sharon said that they have already ordered a few boxes for the whole family, including the house helper.
"I just stay at home and accompany my son. He is just happy that he didn't need to go to school and that we are there to play with him," she added.
