SINGAPORE — There are a whole lot of new reasons to visit Sentosa again, with the launch of several new attractions at the resort island, such as Asia's first gamified electric go-kart circuit.

Sentosa said in a media release on Wednesday (26 July) that the go-kart circuit HyperDrive, with its three-level racetrack, is the centrepiece of a new 183,000-square-foot lifestyle and entertainment precinct at Palawan Beach by the Shangri-La Group.

"The Palawan@Sentosa" will also have "UltraGolf", an 18-hole mini-golf course, as well as two new beach clubs - Splash Tribe, a family-oriented club with a sandcastle-themed wet-play zone and an infinity pool, and +Twelve, which boasts 12 cabanas with private plunge pools and a main pool with swim-up bar.

Food options in the precinct include 10 food trucks and an upcoming restaurant Blu Kouzina, which serves Mediterranean seafood.

Multi-concept group Tipsy Collective will also open its largest project, the Tipsy Unicorn Beach Club, on 1 September.

The beach club will have a convertible 500-seater venue with indoor and outdoor areas occupying 19,000 square feet of space.

It is designed for large group parties and grand celebrations over a range of events such as corporate gatherings, social celebrations, and live performances.

Tipsy Unicorn will also be the only beach club in Sentosa to bring in live bands. It will also offer stylish bottle presentations, as well as a games area.

Private cabanas, daybeds and VIP lounges will also be available, alongside the main pool with an elaborately-designed stage and an ocean view main bar area.

In collaboration with sports brand Puma, Tipsy Unicorn will launch its first shop-in-shop concept in Sentosa, retailing a range of sports, fashion and beach apparels, and merchandise.

Both The Palawan@Sentosa and the Tipsy Unicorn will be located near Sentosa's beaches. The launch of the new precinct followed last month's announcement of the scheduled return of interactive indoor theme park KidZania in Sentosa in the first quarter next year, after its closure in mid 2020.
