Selena Lee shares challenges in "Forensic Heroes IV"
28 Feb – Although her previous drama, "Barrack O'Karma" received rave reviews, Selena Lee stated that she is not at all pressured to repeat the same success through her new drama, "Forensic Heroes IV".
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who sat down for an interview recently, stated that both dramas have different subject matter and overall feel, which makes it illogical to compare.
"This is the first time I am playing a forensic doctor. The most challenging part of this series was memorising the dialogues since it involves a lot of [medical] jargon. I also had to take into account the way a forensic doctor would speak," she said.
Selena revealed that she almost vomited one week during a post-mortem scene.
"I had to face a group of male actors playing corpses with half-naked bodies. It was a bit embarrassing. The most profound memory I had was this one chubby actor, who would casually walk around outside the dressing room in his small underwear during filming, and even slept and snore on the operating bed," she said.
On the other hand, Selena is also excited about returning to the set of her Canadian series, "Blood and Water", saying that she is most delighted to see her name being in the opening credits for the first time - having been upgraded to starring role since her appearance in the second season.
"[Shang-chi star] Simu Liu participated in the first season, and I joined in second season. I think that this series is very lucky," she added.
