Selena Lee denies leaving TVB
12 Jul – TVB actress Selena Lee has denied rumours that she is leaving the company after being frustrated with the lack of progress in her career.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who addressed the rumours at the promotional event of "Succession War" recently, said that her contract with TVB is not nearing expiry and will remain intact until next year.
As for reports that she was frustrated for not being given the same opportunities that were bestowed to her friends like Nancy Wu and Elaine Yiu, she said, "I am not disheartened at all. In fact, I am grateful to TVB for giving me a lot of opportunities. I am thankful for all the things I learned from them."
When asked if she will renew her contract in exchange for a TVB Anniversary Awards' accolade, Selena said that she would rather not win an award in such a way.
"I prefer gaining recognition than winning an award," she said.
