As summer winds down, low-cost Avelo Airlines is offering a major sale with $39 tickets across its network.

The carrier’s “Fall Fare” promotion, which is valid until tomorrow, August 13, at 11:59 p.m. PT, is eligible for travel between September 1 and November 4 with no blackout dates. Additionally, no promo is required to activate the savings, as the eligible routes for this sale are already discounted directly via Avelo’s website or app.

Travel + Leisure found $39 fares on dozens of one-way flights, mostly along the East Coast:

  • Orlando (MCO) and Orlando/Lakeland (LAL) to/from New Haven (HVN)

  • Wilmington, N.C. (ILM) to/from Tampa (TPA)

  • Greenville (GSP) to/from Rochester (ROC)

  • Raleigh-Durham (RDU) to/from Manchester (MHT)

  • Sonoma County (STS) to/from Boise (BOI)

Any of these flights can be canceled within 24 hours of booking for a full cash refund. After this period, passengers can modify their booking or cancel for a future trip credit up to 15 minutes before departure, all without incurring fees.

Travelers new to Avelo should know that the airline operates on a low-cost model. New Avelo customers should be aware that the airline operates on a low-cost model. In addition to the base fare, extra charges apply for seat assignments, carry-on bags, and checked luggage. However, families with children under 14 are guaranteed to sit together.

Avelo’s routes are serviced by a fleet of Boeing 737 Next Generation aircraft, featuring a 3-3 seating configuration. While amenities are limited, travelers seeking extra comfort can opt for seats with additional legroom, offering up to 36 inches of pitch, for an additional fee.

Despite the busy summer travel season, Avelo achieved an impressive on-time performance of 80.9 percent for July 2024. Among major domestic carriers, Alaska Airlines led with 77.51 percent on-time performance, followed by United Airlines (73.12 percent) and Delta Air Lines (72.36 percent).
