Scientists are working on “stress vaccine”

Researchers are working on a stress vaccine that could also help with PTSD and anxiety, while reducing stressful reactions. The vaccine is being developed based on the bacterium Mycobacterium vaccae (M. vaccae) that’s naturally found in soil, and is now shown to reduce inflammation that’s associated with the human body’s natural response to stress.

The Chainsmokers concert cancelled

The Chainsmokers have cancelled their Singapore, which was set to happen on 21 August due to “unforeseen circumstances. The Grammy-winning producer duo had to cancel their Singapore and Manila gig, with concert promoters Live Nation informing that ticket holders will be reimbursed via their website and social media pages.

Donald Trump won’t apologise to Central Park Five

The Netflix special When They See Us has had a grip on all those who watched it since its premiere on 31 May. The five teenage boys, charged in 1989 and wrongfully convicted, were exonerated in 2002 and reached a settlement in 2014. Donald Trump was briefly featured in the show, as he famously spent $85,000 on ads in the newspapers to bring back the death penalty. He was recently asked about the case again, and he stood by his statement, insisting that “the men admitted their guilt”.
