Fan Bingbing is filming a new costume drama?
19 Jun – Rumours are rife that Fan Bingbing is coming out with a new acting project, based on a photo that she shared recently.
As reported on Epoch Times, on 14 June, the actress posted a series of photos on Weibo of her having a meal on her own, but it was her location and her hairstyle that gained the most attention.
Netizens quickly deducted that Fan was at a filming set in the photos based on the fact that there were some filming equipment around her, as well as a bag containing make-up brushes.
She also had her hair in braids, sparking speculations that she might be filming a costume drama or a period film.
While she may be filming her new mainland drama/film in secret, it is no secret that Fan – who was forced to go on hiatus last year following her tax evasion scandal – is set to make her Hollywood comeback, as she will begin filming the all-female spy thriller "355" in summer.
