Satomi Ishihara returns to work

10 Aug – Satomi Ishihara is making her acting comeback more than a year after giving birth to her first child.

As reported on News-Postseven, the news was confirmed by the actress, who said that her new drama has started filming since July, and it will be the first one for her following "Love Deeply" in April 2021.

It was reported that the new drama will be aired in April next year, and that the actress decided to accept the offer due to the flexible schedule.

In a previous interview, Satomi stated that she will definitely return to acting, and will do her best as she had before, before having a baby.

According to sources, the new drama is not a romantic series, but a serious project with the elements of suspense.

Satomi announced her marriage to her non-showbiz husband in October 2020 and gave birth to her first child in April two years later.
