Sandra Lemonon and Sol Mercado announce engagement, and pregnancy

15 Mar – Miss Universe Philippines 2020 contestant Sandra Lemonon recently announced her engagement with boyfriend, basketball player Sol Mercado.

On 13 March, the beauty queen posted a photo of her and Sol dressed in white, with the camera zooming in on the new ring on her finger.

"With you [Sol]. I love you," she posted, sharing the date of 11 March 2022 and the time of 5pm as the moment he proposed.

Sol also shared the same photo on his Instagram account, writing, "Everything that is YOU [Sandra], is all I ever needed! Two hearts one soul."

Sandra then commented, "You are an amazing human being, I feel so blessed [and] happier with you by my side [and] now for [eternity]. I love you."

And that's not the only surprise. A day after their engagement announcement, the couple revealed that they are expecting a baby boy!
