Sammi Cheung thank Bob Lam for her future husband
18 Nov – TVB actress Sammi Cheung recently announced that she is tying the knot with millionaire boyfriend Billy Wong, thanks to good friend Bob Lam.
On 17 November, the actress and Miss Hong Kong alumna posted a prenuptial photo of her and her partner, revealing how she met Billy through the said TV personality.
"On February 14, 2020, I still remember that I was lying in bed in my pajamas and holding my phone while watching YouTube. At about 9PM, suddenly Bob sent a message to ask what I was doing and that if there was nothing special, that I should come out to join him."
Sammi said that Bob wanted to introduce her to a friend of his at a gathering he was attending, and seeing that it was a little late, she told him that she would rather not go out.
"The gold-medal matchmaker replied to me: "Watching YouTube will not change your life, if you are willing to leave tonight, your life will change!"
True to his words, said the actress, the said gathering enabled her to meet her future husband.
"Thank you for showing up, thank you for your love," she wrote. "And special thanks to the golden matchmaker Bob Lam."
Fans and friends alike took to the comments to congratulate her, including Alex Fong, who jokingly wrote, "Congratulations. But Bob did not help me!" Meanwhile Bob responded to the post with a laughing crying emoji.
