Sammi Cheng faces wardrobe malfunction during concert

23 Sep - Although Sammi Cheng is still recuperating from her sickness, and her voice is still not at its best, the singer recently made fans laugh with her wardrobe malfunction during the fifth show of her "Touch Mi 2" concert.

As reported on Mingpao news, the singer, who wore a black shoulder-baring dress, found the back of the dress suddenly burst open while she was performing her song, "Our Theme Song".

She quickly grabbed the bottom part of the dress with her left hand, and in a panicked voice, shouted, "My zipper is broken! What am I going to do? Help! Help!"

She kept shouting for help while the song kept playing, and continued to sing while her wardrobe staff came on stage to give her a track top to wear temporarily.

Nonetheless, Sammi continued to perform and even announced her next guest performer, Leon Lai.

Meanwhile, the singer was still having a hard time singing in tune due to her throat infection, and was joking about her bad luck mid song.

She later posted a photo of herself with her face mask online, saying that she will have to stop singing at least a month or two after the show, until her vocal cord is completely healed.

Sammi also shared an article about her wardrobe issue, and wrote, "Skirt exploded, constant coughing. Poor woman."
