Salt & Stone deodorant review: Works wonder in Singapore’s humid weather
If you're looking for a new deodorant in the market, I would recommend giving this go and free your pits!
(Updated with Sephora giveaway details!)
There are a few beauty products that leave me feeling impressed and speechless – and this Salt & Stone deodorant is one of them. I've been using natural crystal ones for a while now, but they tend to be messy and crack a lot when there's water residue in the container.
Recently, I got to try Salt & Stone's natural deodorant in Bergamot & Hinoki, which just landed in Singapore. The unisex skincare and body care brand from Los Angeles, California, focuses on organic and cruelty-free ingredients while respecting the environment to make their products.
Here's what we know about Salt & Stone's deodorant in a nutshell:
The product claims to be alcohol-free
Contains Hyaluronic Acid to help smooth out lines and helps to heal wounds faster
Contains seaweed, plant extracts, shea butter and coconut oil for moisturing benefits

What is Salt & Stone Bergamot & Hinoki Natural Deodorant
The product is described as an extra-strength natural deodorant that's formulated to feature seaweed extracts and hyaluronic acid to moisturise the skin while probiotics help neutralise odour.
Hinoki oil is said to promote stress relief and relaxation, while bergamot has an uplifting and calming effect.
My review of Salt & Stone Bergamot & Hinoki Natural Deodorant: What I think about it and does it work
When you glide the product on your skin, it doesn't feel sticky, leaving just a moisturising film. The smell has a tinge of masculine aroma, which I like and feels amazing.
I wore it and was out and about in sunny Singapore for about eight hours. I noticed the scent fades off around three to four hours, but the great benefit is that your sweat doesn't mix with the deodorant scent. It simply masks your body odour and I felt 'protected' almost the whole day!
Most drugstore deodorants leave me feeling like I have to reapply a few times a day, but not this one.
Because I have sensitive skin and only wear perfume by spritzing them on my clothes, this product passed my sensitivity test, seeing 24 hours had gone past the last time I wore it.

Is Salt & Stone Bergamot & Hinoki Natural Deodorant worth the buy?
Honestly, I was pleased with the result, and could run my errands without feeling stinky. If you're looking for a new deodorant in the market, I recommend giving this go and freeing your pits!
Some shoppers share the same sentiment, with one quoted as saying, "I bought this on a whim and was a bit concerned with how expensive it is, but it's INCREDIBLE. It's natural, goes on smoothly."
Another shared, "I’m a sweaty gal and holy smokes! I was so surprised this actually worked. No BO smell or anything."
However, there is a handful who find that the deodorant's scent doesn't last long enough for them, and some didn't like the texture.
Try it and let us know how it goes!
