Ryan Reynolds featured in Stray Kids' music video for "Chk Chk Boom"

17 Jul - Stray Kids has invited the biggest star yet to appear in their music video as unveiled in the teaser of their new song recently.

On 14 July, the Korean group posted the promo for "Chk Chk Boom", that started with a scene of a reporter reading the news on TV, saying, "Good evening and thank you for watching CCB News. We have a breaking news from New York City tonight."

Halfway through the voiceover, viewers were presented with a scene of a TV showing the Deadpool star himself, Ryan Reynolds as the TV anchor.

Fans were elated to see the cameo, with one commenting, "This MV is gonna look so crazy good and loving how it already sounds."

"Help. Ryan Reynolds as the news reporter. They love each other so much," posted another.

"Chk Chk Boom" is the lead single for the group's nineth mini-album, "ATE", which is scheduled for release on 19 July.

The friendship between the members and Reynolds sparked after one of its members, Felix dressed as Deadpool during a performance, capturing Reynolds' attention.

Back on 5 July, Reynolds posted a video on X of him and his "Deadpool and Wolverine" co-star Hugh Jackman promoting the new movie, before panning the camera away to reveal that they were alongside the two members of Stray Kids; Bang Chan and Felix.
