Roxanne Tong admits pressure to lose ten pounds in a month

16 May – With "Forensic Heroes IV" reshoot set in June, TVB actress Roxanne Tong revealed that she has been busy working out to lose weight in preparation for her role.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke about her task of reshooting all scenes from the drama originally filmed by controversial actress Jacqueline Wong, revealed that she is currently undergoing a weight loss programme "from hell".

"It consists of a variety of diets, exercises, massages, and detoxifications," she said.

It is noted that producer Mui Siu Ching previously tasked Roxanne to lose ten pounds of her current weight.

Asked if it has been stressful, the actress responded, "I have to lose a lot of weight in such a little time. It would be a lie to say that it didn't give me any pressure."

Roxanne was announced as the new cast member of "Forensic Heroes IV" last week, following reports of original star Jacqueline Wong's affair with married singer Andy Hui.
