Rosina Lam visited haunted HK spots for "Our Unwinding Ethos"

12 Jul – Former TVB actress Rosina Lam recently admitted that she enjoyed filming her new drama, "Our Unwinding Ethos", as it had given her an experience like no other.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at the promotional event of the said mystery drama, revealed that the project enabled her to visit places in Hong Kong known for its urban legends.

"If not for this drama, I wouldn't have even thought of visiting places like the Bride's Pool and Tat Tak School," she said.

However, Rosina admitted that there was an eerie feeling when she first came to the aforementioned sites. At one point, even the camera suddenly lost its signal.

Co-star Edwin Siu revealed that they made sure to strengthen the security measure while filming at those places, and even held a worshiping ceremony before production starts.

"I was not involved in the shooting around Bride's Pool but [fellow actor] To Yin Gor fell down and got injured when he came for a visit and had to take a three-month rest," he said.

Bride's Pool is a stream pool with several waterfalls in north-eastern New Territories, Hong Kong, near Tai Mei Tuk – known to be one of the haunted Hong Kong spots. The story goes that a bride fell into the connecting river and drowned due to her heavy wedding dress.

Tat Tak School, meanwhile, is a famous abandoned school in Yuen Long which reportedly had been a supposed site of a massacre during WWII.

Co-starring Jonathan Cheung and Moon Lau, "Our Unwinding Ethos" revolves around a team of investigators who set off to solve strange and supernatural mysteries in Hong Kong.
