Rosina Lam is leading the Best Actress category for TVB Awards
13 Jan - Rosina Lam is happy to hear that she is now leading the votes to win the Best Actress at the upcoming TVB Anniversary Awards.
It was reported by HK01 on 11 January that Rosina is leading the pack with 25 percent of the votes for her performance in "Darkside of the Moon", followed by co-star Tavia Yeung at 17 percent.
Rosina, who plays the villainous Cheuk Wai Wan in the drama series, expressed that playing such a role has been very stressful, as it is difficult to strike a balance to the character.
"To see Cheuk Wai Wan getting the recognition and votes from the audience is the most precious honour to me. I am so moved," she added.
Asked if she is confident about winning TV Queen this year, the actress said, "Being selected as one of the top ten, I believe everyone is very talented and has high expectations. Now that I hear that the audience and netizens support and like this role, I have more confidence. I hope that the character and the drama will both do well."
