Rosewood Casts LeToya Luckett as Morris Chestnut's New Love Interest
Dr. Rosewood has a date with destiny.
Destiny’s Child singer-turned-actress LeToya Luckett is joining Rosewood Season 2 as a love interest for Morris Chestnut’s titular pathologist, TVLine has learned. Fox confirmed the casting, but declined to provide additional details about the role (save for the fact that it’s recurring and the character’s name ix Tawnya).

Luckett, whose TV credits include stints on HBO’s Ballers and Treme as well as VH1’s Single Ladies, is Rosewood‘s second major Season 2 addition. As TVLine previously reported, Eddie Cibrian is set to play East Miami Police’s newest member, one who will both challenge and complicate an already messy situation between Rosewood and Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz). He stepped in for Brian Austin Green, who abruptly exited the series in the middle of shooting his first episode.
Rosewood returns with its second season on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 8/7c.
