Roger Kwok leaves TVB, signs with Wong Cho Lam

7 Mar – Actor Roger Kwok recently confirmed that he has decided not to renew his contract with TVB, and is now signed to Wong Cho Lam's management company.

As reported on HK01, the actor, who spoke about his departure from TVB at the costume conference of his new drama, "White Strongman", shared that he is confident that Wong, whom he worked with in the "Come On, Cousin" franchise, is capable of helping him expand his career.

"This is not about getting more work in mainland China. An artiste should be able to expand his career. Everyone wants to earn more, and how can you do that without getting more opportunities?," he added.

Roger added that even if he won't earn more through new opportunities, he believes that it will open up more doors for him as an actor.

"TVB can do this for me, but I need a more compatible partner. I believe Wong Cho Lam has the ability to do this," he added.

Nonetheless, Roger said that he will continue to work with TVB if the company offers him a good project.
