Roger Kwok doesn't pay much attention to talks of winning TV King

17 Jul – Although fans have been expressing support for Roger Kwok to get a TV King nomination again this year, the actor recently stated that he will not dwell too much on it.

As reported on HK01, the actor, whose performance as the morally grey doctor YT Leung in "Big White Duel" received a lot of praises from critics and audience alike, stated that the most important thing to him at this stage is getting a good feedback from viewers.

"I won't think about what kind of awards there is. It's not what I was thinking about when I did the drama, and it wasn't on my mind when it aired on television," he said.

Roger added that while an award would make an actor happy for one night, he believes that he will be more satisfied if people love his drama so much that it warrants a second and third viewing.

The actor is no stranger to winning accolades for his past performances, having won TV King in 2002 for his performance in "Square Pegs", in 2005 for "Life Made Simple", and 2014 for "Black Heart White Soul".
