Richie Jen doesn't know what would happen to his movie
24 Dec – Taiwanese actor Richie Jen admitted that he has no information as to what will happen to his movie, "Pao Ma", now that director Doze Niu is facing a sexual assault charge.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who gained nearly 50 pounds for the new movie, shared to the media recently that he is still waiting for the notice from the production, and doesn't know when he can return to work on the movie.
"I did send a short message to Doze Niu, but he didn't reply. I don't know the whole process, he doesn't talk, so I don't know what to say," he said.
When asked what he thinks of the filmmaker, who was recently accused of assaulting a female worker at his home, Richie said that he can't make any statements about Niu.
"Everyone has been sending him messages to give him encouragement in facing the case," he said.
When mentioned that it would be a pity if the movie is cancelled after all of his hard work, Richie smiled and said that he won't think too much about it.
"I am not the only one who is impacted by this. Everybody wants to make a good movie," he added.
