Rhydian Vaughan welcomes baby boy

28 Jan - Taiwanese actor Rhydian Vaughan has recently become a father.

According to HK Yahoo!, the 27-year-old Taiwanese-British star announced the good news on his Weibo account, saying, "The baby has arrived. It's a healthy baby boy."

Vaughan stated that somebody once told him that a person's heart becomes old once a child is born.

"But it's not true at all. We still have time to do more enjoyable things. Now that he is becoming a big part of my life, there is no negativity in me."

This is the first baby for Vaughan and girlfriend Hong Zhe-jun, although it was reported that the couple has no plans to get married anytime soon.

The actor also revealed that he will be travelling overseas for work in February.

A grand jury in Massachusetts has indicted a doctor who is accused of sexually assaulting more than 200 former patients over a period of more than a decade. The patients sued Dr. Derrick Todd, who has been accused of performing unnecessary pelvic floor therapy, breast examinations, testicular examinations and other unwarranted procedures on patients dating back to 2010. The Middlesex District Attorney's Office said in a statement Thursday that Todd was indicted earlier that day for “two counts of rape alleging the sexual assault of two women.”
