Rebecca Zhu hopes for more work after winning TVB Awards
26 Jan – TVB actress Rebecca Zhu recently admitted that she still could not believe that she won Best Supporting Actress at the recently concluded 50th TVB Anniversary Awards.
As reported on Singtao, the actress, who returned to the set of her new drama, "Fist Fight" alongside fellow winners Matt Yeung and Vincent Wong recently, shared that she originally thought that she would at least have a chance at Most Improved Actress, and didn't expect to win the said category instead.
"Thank you for the encouragement for me to work harder," she said.
When asked if her salary will be increased now that she has won, Rebecca responded, "I do wonder if the company will adjust the amount for me. But I also hope to get more work and make more money."
The actress, who won for her role in "A General, A Scholar, and A Eunuch" also hopes to celebrate her win with the cast of the said drama soon.
On the other hand, netizens recently expressed frustration with the result, especially since many supported either Elaine Yiu or Tracy Chu to win in the category.
