Rebecca Zhu denies getting married this year
25 Jul - Rebecca Zhu had to say "no" five times recently to question about whether or not she will be tying the knot this year.
The actress, who was rumoured to be dating Brilliant International Group heir, Kenneth Shi after Alice Chan hinted about the actress settling down earlier this year, said that it was all just a misunderstanding.
"Everybody misunderstood what Alice meant. She was just sending her blessings, hoping that I would get married within the year. I know she was just joking. But thank you for your blessings," she said.
Rebecca described her status as "available", adding that she is unsure how her friendship with Kenneth was twisted into something more.
"It was fortunate that we understand each other and had no misunderstanding about it," she said.
When it comes to marriage, said the actress, she will just let things happen.
"When I was young, I thought about getting married and having children at the age of 30, but now I am 36 years old, and I still don't know when I will get married," she said.
