Raymond Lam is more confident to reprise "A Step" role
3 Apr – Hong Kong actor Raymond Lam recently admitted that he is more confident about performing in the upcoming movie adaptation of his classic drama, "A Step into the Past" now that he is more experienced as an actor.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor who appeared at the Weibo Night Awards recently, shared that he will be reprising the role of the Crown Prince of Qin in the upcoming adaptation, "Back to the Past".
"The audience will not be able to relate [if I play a different character]. Everybody will have to reprise their roles for it to spark nostalgia," he said.
When asked if changes are expected now that they are reunited after more than 17 years, he said, "I feel more positive about it. When we did the drama, I had no idea what I was doing because it was my first costume drama ever. But after more than ten years of acting experience, I should be showing a lot of progress."
Raymond, who is also now signed with Louis Koo's company, shared that he will continue to be busy with work.
"I have three new movies and dramas right now, so there may not be any time to release a new album. But I may record several songs instead," he added.
