Rainie Yang forgets her first wedding anniversary
28 Aug – Although she will be celebrating her first wedding anniversary in September, Rainie Yang recently admitted that she had forgotten all about it.
As reported on Epoch Times, the singer who appeared at a press conference announcing her anniversary concert, LIKE A STAR on 24 August, stated that she had not seen husband Li Ronghao for nearly five months now, and that the thought about their first anniversary has long been forgotten.
"Because of the pandemic, I really missed a lot of the first few months of our marriage. Sometimes I would cry on the phone, but he was more rational. Whenever he saw me crying, he'll just tease me and say, 'it's okay, I am alive and well'," she said.
Asked how she maintained the marriage being away for the most part of their first year together, the singer said that both parties have to be mature enough to deal with it, and to find time for one another.
On the other hand, when mentioned on the topic of good friend Wilber Pan's recent marriage, Rainie enthused that she was excited for him and his new wife Luna.
"His wife is very good and treats him well. It is an honour that he trusts me so much that he tells me about the marriage [before everybody else]," she said.
As for the past rumours of Luna joining a grooming class targeting to date male celebrities - causing both she and Wilber to be bullied targets for netizens, Rainie simply commented that she felt sorry for the couple.
