Rachelle Ann Go happy to reprise role in "Les Miserables"

14 Jan – Rachelle Ann Go recently revealed that she is excited about reprising her role as Fantine in the upcoming new West End production of the hit musical, "Les Miserables".

As reported on ABS-CBN News, the musical star, who spoke to the media about her 2020 plans, shared that playing the character again would be great fun for her since it is not as difficult as her previous musical, "Hamilton" - in which she played the role of Eliza Schuyler.

"Playing Fantine requires only 23-minute stage time, so I would have more time for me and my husband when I am not working," she said.

Go added that she would like to focus more on her role as a wife to husband Martin Spies, since she has been working a lot since her wedding in April 2018.

"At least now the show is not so difficult and I can focus more [on family]," she said.

Go last played Fantine in the stage production back in 2015.

The actress is also currently in the Philippines in preparation for her upcoming Valentine's Day concert.

Asked what she has been doing, Go replied, "I really needed my break now. I need to breathe and pause for a bit, so I am here now in the Philippines. I have been doing nothing but eat."
