Qin Lan and Wu Jinyan to star in new drama

26 Jan – It was reported that Chinese actresses Qin Lan and Wu Jinyan will be reunited in the new drama, "Chuan Jia".

As reported on On CC, the two stars, who have been enjoying a newfound fame following the success of their hit drama, "Story of Yanxi Palace", will be playing sisters in the new drama, which will also be produced by Yanxi's Yu Zheng.

"Chuan Jia" reportedly will be set in the Republic of China of the early 1920s.

However, no further details have been released by the studio. Yu Zheng's only response regarding the new project is that the script is already completed and that it will begin production after the completion of his new drama.

For the meantime, fans of both stars could see their reunion on Wu's new drama, "The Legend of Haolan", although Qin will only appear as a guest star.
