Qin Lan gets more jobs since "Story of Yanxi Palace"

27 Sep – Chinese actress Qin Lan recently admitted that she has been blessed with more jobs and guest appearances due to the success of her period drama, "Story of Yanxi Palace".

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who appeared at a Hong Kong event following her return from Milan, shared that she has not been sleeping a lot for the past few weeks following the many gigs she was scheduled to do.

"I haven't had a day off since [the drama aired]. I could only use my time on the plane to get some rest," she said.

When asked if she is paid well for her work, Qin responded, "It's reasonable. But I am not making that much money since we're not paid for the publicity work."

Qin also said that she will not let the success of "Yanxi Palace" pressure her into finding something similar for her future project.

"I have already done my job. It is in the past. Now it's time to focus and the present and the future," she added.
