Puteri Sarah Liyana won't comment about Syamsul Yusof's impending divorce
21 Aug - Puteri Sarah Liyana would rather keep mum about the news that ex-husband Syamsul Yusof is filing for divorce from wife of one and a half years, Ira Kazar.
The actress, who was contacted by the media following news about the divorce, said that she doesn't want to make things worse by making any statement.
"I know a lot of people want me to say something since yesterday, but I am sorry. I can't give you the answer that you want," she said. "I don't want my response to give any negative impact towards other people's grievances."
Puteri Sarah said, however, that she believes Syamsul has made the decision by his own accord rather than being forced to do so.
As for the actress herself, she said that she is happy being a single mother to two kids.
"I am pleased with my own life. I have no time to think about other people's problems. My children are my focus," she added.
However, Puteri Sarah still had everybody speculating when she took to social media and wrote, "Always remember that you can have the worst days of your life and a few weeks later you can have the best days of your life, keep pushing."
It is noted that Puteri Sarah and Syamsul Yusof ended their marriage last year, a few months after the filmmaker announced that he had taken Ira Kazar to be his second wife.
