Puteri Sarah Liyana settles with Ira Kazar out of court

6 Jul – After years of conflict, Puteri Sarah Liyana and ex-husband's new wife Ira Kazar have finally decided to settle their case out of court.

The news was confirmed by the actress' legal representative, who stated that the court has recorded the consent judgement of the two parties.

"There are things that are difficult to reveal, so this case is resolved amicably. The case is over. I represented Puteri Sarah as the plaintiff, while Ira Kazar as the defendant was represented by lawyer, Ammar Ghalip," said lawyer, Puteri Ummi Kartini.

It is noted that Puteri Sarah decided to take legal action against Ira, real name Faghira Fatini Kazaruddin, back in June last year, after stating that she had been patient for four years amid reports of her husband's affair with the 28-year-old.

In July the same year, the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court issued an inter-parte injunction order (both sides) which, among other things, stated that Ira was prevented from approaching or being within 500 metres of Puteri Sarah, her family, the family of her in-laws, or anybody related to her.

Puteri Sarah and husband Syamsul Yusuf ended their marriage in June this year, six months after revealing that he had married Ira in Thailand without Puteri and his family's knowledge.
