Priscilla Wong releases third book about her travels
20 Jul – Priscilla Wong is among the few Hong Kong artistes who are promoting their books at the Hong Kong Book Fair, which began on 19 July and will last for seven days.
The TVB actress and travel show host recently published her third book, loosely translated as "Meeting Angels on Earth", where she shared her experience of meeting people and seeing places during her previous travels.
In a previous post, Priscilla expressed, "It is the third time to publish a book, and the happiest person is my father yet again. I remember the first time I published a book that year, my father lined up at the book fair early in the morning to buy dozens of books and take them home to share with relatives and friends."
"My family has never been a scholarly family. My parents' expectation for us five daughters since childhood is to read more books and write more. So, I firmly believe that for parents, the greatest achievement of the second daughter is to have published a book," she added.
The actress also admitted that there are other people who have better writing skills than her, but that she is grateful that the stories she had written in her travel diary for more than 10 years of travel experience can be turned into a book.
"I am grateful to everyone I have met in various places. It is you who have given me countless moving stories. Hope you enjoy this little piece," she added.
Aside from Priscilla, other stars who released a new book at the said book fest include Liza Wang and Anthony Wong.
