Popular ice cream parlour Tom’s Palette has issued an apology to its customers after being suspended by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) due to lapses in food safety practices. The establishment, renowned for its unique and creative flavours, admitted to shortcomings that led to the temporary suspension, emphasising that customer safety is of utmost importance.

The suspension followed an SFA inspection which uncovered several issues regarding food handling and hygiene standards. Tom’s Palette’s management expressed regret for the situation, stating, “We’re sorry we messed up,” and pledged to immediately rectify the lapses. They reassured their customers that they were collaborating with the SFA to make the necessary improvements.

Known for its loyal following and distinctive ice cream flavours, Tom’s Palette which will reopen on 29 Oct, conveyed their commitment to taking this setback seriously. Due to this sincere apology, their loyal customer has been very forgiving with one of them saying “I’ve never been to your store but I’m impressed with how you handled this…”.
