Piolo Pascual no longer planning to retire
7 Jul – Although he previously planned to retire from showbiz at the age of 40, Piolo Pascual has fans everywhere exhaling with relief that he has now changed his mind.
The 45-year-old actor, who spoke about the retirement plan that he made a few years ago, admitted that he must have been immature and was experiencing burnout when he said that.
"You can call it a midlife crisis, because you're too loaded up with work," he added.
At this point in his life, said Piolo, he just wants to continue to do what he is doing right now.
"This is something that I really appreciate, being in this business, being in front of you guys, and just sharing my life. As long as I feel that I'm needed in this business or there is something that I can contribute, I will stay on," he said.
Piolo can be seen in the new series, "Flower of Evil", a remake of a Korean drama of the same name, co-starring Lovi Poe.
