PHOTOS: Fast food fails in Singapore

Aside from hawker dishes, Singaporeans are serious about their fast foods, too. This is evident in the online backlash of Singaporeans in 2017 after people discovered missing cheese or bacon bits in their cheesy loaded fries, or that their Chizza – a chicken and pizza hybrid – looked nothing like the professionally shot pictures.

Many had also mourned the Nasi Lemak Burger when sales were temporarily paused, or McDonald’s curry sauce when stocks ran out.

When these things happen, fast food lovers in Singapore would normally take to social media – even to the companies’ respective Facebook pages – to complain by sharing photos or videos of their disappointing meals for others to see.

Here are some of the complaints that have been made towards a number of fast food chains in Singapore. These might also serve as a reminder that the companies really mean it when they say, “photos are for illustration purposes only”.
