Patrick Tse plays the lead in new movie

3 Oct – Hong Kong veteran star Patrick Tse is starring in a new movie with fellow veterans Petrina Fung and Lam Suet in the new Gordon Lam comedy movie, "Sa Chut Go Wong Fun".

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who attended the worship ceremony alongside his co-stars recently, revealed that after only making guest appearances in recent years, he will be playing the lead in the movie about three former criminals trying to lead an ordinary life and finding the value of their existence in their twilight years.

The movie also stars young stars like Belinda Yan, Zeno Koo, J Jia, Stephanie Ho, and newcomer Chung Suet Ying.

"I have made a lot of movies, but this is the first time I am working with so many young stars. Gordon wants me to change my style and prohibited me from tilting my head, but we will see how much influence he has," he said in jest.

On the other hand, Petrina admitted that she quickly said yes to the project after finding out that Patrick will also be involved.

"I immediately flew back from Malaysia to Hong Kong when I found out about it. He really is like a big brother to me," she said.

The upcoming film will be helmed by new director Ricky Ko.
