Patrick Tse denies hospitalisation rumour

27 Jul – Nicholas Tse's camp has denied rumours that father Patrick Tse is currently admitted in a hospital.

According to Mingpao, earlier, it was reported that the 86-year-old actor suffered a stroke and was admitted to hospital. Nicholas, who was in Australia with son Lucas, allegedly rushed back to Hong Kong to be with his father.

The news has spread wildly in several news outlets, prompting EEG's Mani Fok to respond, "There is no such thing."

It is noted that there have been countless reports of Patrick's supposed illness, with the last one being last year, when the media speculated that he had a stroke prior to the Hong Kong Film Awards.
