Patrick Tang explains wife's departure from management company
28 Jan – Patrick Tang recently defended wife Sukie Shek's decision to end her contract with their management agency earlier than stipulated.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer who appeared together with his wife at a promotional event stated that Sukie made the choice to terminate her contract due to their differences in direction.
"Star Entertainment has ideas about its artistes' development and music concept that are somehow different than ours. But I really want to thank the bosses for understanding the matter, and to allow Sukie to cancel the contract in advance," he said.
Patrick added that he will be assisting his wife in finding her the right management that can support her music direction.
"For now, she is temporarily managing herself," he said.
