Pam Bondi Gets Sworn as Attorney General Wearing Gianvito Rossi Pumps Alongside President Trump

Pam Bondi was sworn in today, Feb. 5, as the attorney general of the United States by Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas, following the Senate confirmation yesterday. The swearing in took place in the Oval Office at the White House, where President Donald Trump was present in addition to Bondi’s partner John Wakefield and her mother Patsy Bondi.

In the standard fashion of a woman in politics, the attorney general dressed up for the occasion in a formal ensemble paired with pumps, specifically the Nuit style from Gianvito Rossi.

Bondi opted to wear a black and white ensemble including a skirt with a frayed, below-the-knee hemline, a top and a double breasted blazer with a notch lapel. Each item in the set featured the same pattern of criss-crossing white lines against a black backdrop creating a pattern of small squares. Both the skirt and jacket included rounded gold buttons.

Bondi’s ensemble was accompanied by a pair of black leather pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Wearing the 105 mm version of the brand’s Nuit style, the shoes feature a knotted design in front providing the shoe with structural detailing. The shoes otherwise look like a typical pump with a stiletto heel, a pointed toe and a low-cut vamp. The pumps can currently be purchased from Farfetch.
